This book started as just something to kill a little time, and turned into a very late night. I couldn't put it down! The story started a bit slow but picked up steam quickly. The storyline was well thought out and characters developed fully. The author leaves just enough questions unanswered to keep the reader engaged while not introducing so many twists as to be annoying or feel forced.
I am truly looking forward to the next book in the series.

My husband was the first to read this book and flew through it incredibly quickly and was ready for the second immediately. Seeing how much he loved it, I picked it up right away (even though I was in the middle of another book). It started out a little slow for me, but like many great books, characters and settings deserve time. Before long, I was immersed in the world of Wilona Bumbridge and eagerly looking forward to the next adventure.
I started this out as a light read then was fully engrossed. The characters are great and there are plenty of twists and turns. I can't wait for my kids to read it and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!
