I loved this book so much that I read it twice; once for my book club, and then once again when I read the other two books in the series in order. This author has a wonderful sense of humor, and had me literally laughing out loud. Looking forward to reading other books by this author.

I love the story. I like how it included then other characters from the previous books. It .kept my attention but I feel something was missing from the story.
Candace Camp always gives us a good read. I enjoy her books immensely. Some are better than others depending upon what appeals to the particular reader. On my own personal Candace scale of 1 to 10, I would give this one a 7+
Genevieve Stafford, is a young woman from a very old and respected family who was raised by her very proper grandmother, and as the saying goes,the apple hasn't fallen very far from the tree! Genevieve is so proper, she is thought by some to have ice water running through her veins.
One day,unwittingly, Genevieve finds herself embroiled in a scandal not of her making. To her rescue comes her brothers dear friend, Myles Thorwood, who proposes marriage on the spot.
Myles must first try to thaw Genevieve, if he ever hopes to have a more meaningful relationship with her, which he seems to do quit well, but misunderstandings soon cause a rift between the two young lovers and someone can not let the scandal die down,causing continued mayhem for the young couple too.
Will love win out?
Will our villain be unmasked?

I always enjoy the unusual plot with a twist in any romance. Candace Camp has written some of my favorite books throughout the years. This 3 book series is her newest but I advise you to go back to her backlist and continue your enjoyment. Many thanks for giving us another series.
The author does not disappoint in this novel. The characters are believable , the dialogue easy to read and the plot clever.
This is the final book of this series and a great finish. Loved the character of Myles, who was in the first two books. Genevieve was the sister of Alec who was the hero of the last book. Myles and Genevieve have been friends since Genevieve was a child. A lovely romance.
Hmmmmm. I wanted to like it. I didn't really dislike it; however, it was disappointing. Maybe I should just take it in pieces. The characters, if you have read the two previous novels, are familiar. I don't thanks they were developed in any additional death in this novel. When the characters are under-developed and the conflict is just too contrived, and the story never really flows the story becomes rather tedious. I like formula romance. That being said character development is critical. The plot can be simplistic but if you don't have insight into and a concern for the characters it's difficult to like the total product. The character of Myles cries for more clarity. Maybe it's the nature of the venue. I'm not sorry I bought the book but it's probably not one I'll read again.
