I read this as part of an anthology called "Beginnings" which I won in a book event. Our elemental princess, Kaesen, has an arranged marriage in her future and her heart already belonging to another. This is the stuff from which great romances are made. This was very enjoyable and you should read it too! )
Elemental Princess had me emotionally vested from the start. A book of Elementals, fae, and witches I am in absolute delight. I immediately felt connected to Kaesen the princess she was so easy to not just like but love as if she were a dear long lost friend. Alwen her sworn guardian and love is so sweet, and has such a beautiful soul and light about him it's not hard to understand why Kaesen feels so strongly for him. When tragedy strikes and darkness dares to rear it's ugly head it's true love that maybe all that will save the day.
I am absolutely sold on this series I can't express the delight and excitement after reading this book that I am experiencing in enough words. M.M. Roethig has my undivided attention right now with this the beginning of the Elemental Series. I can not contain my excitement towards the discovering the rest of the story and how it all will end.
